Districts are ranked by total 2024-25 enrollment reported to the NCES Common Core of Data. Every agency type is included, so a state-run or charter network can appear if it is large enough. Districts with no reported enrollment are left out.

Size is not a measure of quality. Large districts often contain a wide range of schools. Spending per pupil is from the 2020 finance data and is shown for context.
